Privacy policy

This policy explains what information seattleheatpumpco.com collects and what happens to it. The site is operated by The Seattle Heat Pump Company ("we", "us"). Questions about it go to office@seattleheatpumpco.com.
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to send through a form on this site. Depending on the form, that is:
- your name, phone number, email address and home ZIP code
- the service you are interested in and any message you write
- the form you used, the page you sent it from and how you reached the site (for example a search engine, a link on another site or a campaign tag in the link)
- your answers to the cost estimator or readiness assessment, if you send a form on the same page after using them (the estimator's optional income question is never included)
The cost estimator and the readiness assessment work entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere unless you submit a form, and the estimator's share link stores answers only in the page address you choose to copy. The optional income question in the estimator is used only to show which rebates may apply and is never sent to us.
How we use it
We use what you send to answer your request, arrange an assessment, prepare an estimate and follow up about that project. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' marketing.
Who processes it
Form submissions pass through our form backend and are stored in the customer relationship management (CRM) system we use to manage inquiries and projects. Those providers process the data on our behalf. If your project goes ahead, the details needed to plan and carry out the work are shared with the licensed and insured contractors who perform it.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep automated spam out of our forms. When you start filling in a form, Turnstile loads from Cloudflare and checks signals from your browser and device to tell people from bots; Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies or build a profile of you across sites.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps one small note in your browser's session storage about how you arrived, which is cleared when you close the tab and is sent only with a form you submit. Cloudflare Turnstile may use its own storage to perform its check.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and project records for as long as we need them to respond to you, carry out and support the work, and meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to records we are required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing office@seattleheatpumpco.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
